The ultra-premium tequila market is highly competitive, and introducing a new brand requires a unique selling point that distinguishes it from the existing brands. The challenge faced by Tiempo Tequila was to create a distinctive brand identity that reflected the quality and purity of the product while differentiating it from the crowded marketplace.

Approach
To address the challenge, we decided to focus on the product’s purity and the traditional methods used in its production and create a brand identity that reflected these values while highlighting the quality of the tequila.

Solution
The bottle design is made of recycled glass, topped with a natural cork and wooden stopper. The labels are printed sustainably with ink and feature Alan Berry Rhys’s surrealist journey through the Mexican jungle, reflecting the brand’s inspiration.

It’s pretty difficult to get one of these bad boys so we’re well chuffed to be recognised as one of the best designs in the spirit category.
